Shipping policy

Delivery Policy

We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 24 hours Monday - Friday 9:30 am – 5:30 pm. Orders placed Saturday – Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday.

Carriers

We use the following Royal Mail to deliver our orders, although we reserve the right to use alternative carriers should the need arise.

Please note that orders placed in October, November and December may be affected by strike action. Please allow extra time for your orders to arrive. 

Order Tracking

If a tracking number is provided by the carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st class mail will not have tracking numbers.

Delivery Rates

Our standard delivery rates are based on Royal Mail Second Class delivery, to include packaging. Gift Vouchers and lighter weighted items are offered at a cheaper rate. Free delivery is also offered if a minimum spend is met.

We also offer Royal Mail First Class tracked delivery at an extra charge.

Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of delivery will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order.

Return and Refund Policy

Here at Haynes Motor Museum we are committed to your satisfaction with your purchase from our online shop. Every item is carefully inspected before we send it to you.

Damaged Items

If your item has arrived damaged and you would like to return it to us, please contact our retail team at shop@haynesmuseum.org with details of the damage and any corresponding proof such as images. Once you have contacted our team, we will be in touch with next steps. You must inform us of your damaged item within 14 days of receiving the item. 

Unwanted Items

If you wish to return your unwanted item, this must be done within 28 days of receiving the order. Please post it back to us, with the returns form enclosed. The item must be in re-sellable condition, any original packaging should still be intact, undamaged and seals unbroken. We will not accept items such as a diecast model in a damaged box. If you're unsure, please email our team a photo at shop@haynesmuseum.org. If the packaging is damaged and we are unable to re-sell the item, your refund request will be rejected, and your item will be sent back to you at your own cost. Returns postage is not paid for by us and is the customers responsibility to pay for. Any refunds on an items will be for the item only and not for original postage. We recommend posting with tracked postage or to retain proof of postage. Once the Haynes Motor Museum Shop has received your returned item and reviewed it, you will be refunded onto your original payment method within 7-10 working days.
